Hmm… does this count as a macro shot? I guess yes if you take macro photography to mean close-up photography. I was closed enough to be within the striking distance of an angry dog.
This picture of a neighbour’s dog back in my hometown in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, was among the earliest pictures I took with the Canon PowerShot G6.
I guess he hated me quite a lot, for each time I ventured out of my house, it would come close and sneer at me. But we became friends later on when I throw him fried chicken leftovers or it might be because he could sense that I was not afraid of him.
Said the dog to other dogs, “No point trying to scare this one; and furthermore he has that strange weapon in his hands which emits light each time you come close. You don’t wanna mess with this one…” (In Clint Eastwood voice).
