Macro Photography Blog Is One Month Old

Date November 11, 2007

Macro Photography Blog, which I started on October 11, is one month old today. During its formative days, I’ve filled it up with mainly close up pictures of living things. Some of the pictures are over a year old while some are quite new. I had in my safekeeping tons of macro pictures which I took over the years, but they are not always usable.

Over the past month, this blog has not seen a single day without a post, but the time has come perhaps to think about the direction of this blog.

Filling up this blog with close up pictures is not the most difficult thing to do. So long as there are pictures in my stockpile, I can go on posting more pictures day after day but that is not what I originally intended to do with this blog. Obviously there are more to macro photography than the picture — we can talk about the process of taking photos, the techniques and the technology behind it, the various camera brand and so on.

So perhaps after one month of doing just posting close up pictures, I should now take this blog to a new level, broaden its horizon a bit to not only to presenting macro photography as a results of using technology, but also to discuss about the technology itself.

It think it would be useful, to me at least because then I would have to learn more to be able to talk about the subject. But rest assured, I’d still be posting pictures although no longer on daily basis.
