I know of at least two types of species of tickleme plant. You don't want to grow the other species because it can spread real fast. The one in this photo is okay and the prettier of the two species.

I like the video on the www.ticklemeplant.com site and I am anxious to grow my own.
Who knew a plant can move when Tickled! It should be required to grow this plant from seeds in every school. It beat growing a lima bean for sure.

In the USA this plant is not considered a nuisance( as in most places it dies from the frost) and is an exciting novelty . I thought your young gardeners would enjoy an indoor gardening adventure, growing the TickleMe Plant (Mimosa pudica).
If your bloggers visit www.TickleMePlant.com they will see the plant that closes its leaves and lowers its branches when tickled. THIS WEEK- your readers can put in the word READERS at check out and we will take TWO DOLLARS off the total of their order. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We love helping children and those young at heart to become excited about plants and nature!
