I was driving the other day when I almost run over a kitten by the roadside. Alone, dirty and terrified, the kitten scurried back into the bushes.

I had wanted to continue with the journey but the kids wouldn’t allow, not before I wormed my way into the bushes and picked up the kitten.

This picture is taken a week after the rescue.
