Food Macro…

Hastily barbecued prawns by yours truly. The recipe is simple — clean up the prawns, rub some salt on the prawns’ “injuries” and throw them into the fire.

Now, I’m in a dilemma about which category should I put this close-up photo. Should I put it under “still life macro” or “odds and ends macro”? Then it occurred to me that perhaps I should create another category — “food macro”.

Food are (is?) a great source for macro photography. Here are dozens of photos on Flickr with a “food macro” tag.
