The Office of the US President-Elect has released the official portrait of President Barack Obama.
Change.gov says the portrait was taken by Pete Souza, the official White House photographer.
It is taken with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, the first time that a presidential portrait is taken with a digital camera.
The photograph is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. Meanwhile, Digital Photography School has an active discussion on “How to photograph Obama’s inauguration — What would you do?“
