Photoclub Alpha has revealed Sony’s new A850, a full frame DSLR, which is expected to ship within the next few weeks or so.

It made no mention of what the price would likely be but says that Sony might be aiming for a minimum retail price. The A850, it says, is identical to the Alpha A900 in size, handling and external design.

I’m buying a DSLR soon and is willing to wait for Sony’s two other rumoured cameras, the Sony Alpha A500 and A550, to see if the sweep panorama technology has come onboard. Otherwise, it is going to be either a Pentax K-7, Canon EOS 500D or Nikon D5000 for me.
