There are a lot of things to photograph in the garden — flowers, raindrops, unusual tree formation, dry leaves, insects, landscape, garden furniture and so on.

The following video covers some aspects of garden photography that you might find useful. The guy in the video uses a DSLR but I guess the same approach also applies to those using point-and-shoot cameras.
