I’ve placed an order for the Pentax K-7 yesterday and I should be holding the camera in my hands tomorrow.
DA 17-70mm F4
I’ve also asked for a flashgun and several lenses to choose from.
I think I’m going to skip Pentax’s new weather-sealed lenses and start with the constant-aperture smc PENTAX DA 17-70mm F4 AL (IF) SDM instead. I’m not sure yet if this is a good choice but I think it is a safe choice.
Later on, if I had the bucks to spare, I plan to buy the smc PENTAX DA 55-300mm F4-5.8 ED.

Lucky guy Jason! I too have heard great stuff about the K-7 hell I even like the name K-7 it has a certain ring about it! LoL also i love dogs and the K-7’s almost there! (K9 LoL)
Look forward to seeingsome shots with the new gear, remember you can never have too many cameras so i tell the wife LoL
