Just got the Pentax K-7 last night and still playing with the setting. I guess the safest setting is the Green (Auto) setting.

For some reason, the shopkeeper managed to convince me to buy the Pentax 18-250mm F3.5-6.3ED AL(IF) lens instead of the constant-aperture smc PENTAX DA 17-70mm F4 AL (IF) SDM I’ve planned earlier. Come to think of it, I should have gone ahead according to the plan. Will try to post sample pictures within the next couple of days.

I think it depends the subjects. If they are just ordinary subjects, taken with little care, the results won’t be much different from a high-end point and shoot camera.
