It’s been quite a while since I last played with the SX1 IS and its trusted macro companion, the Raynox DCR-250, which I have somewhat neglected ever since I got my prize possession, the Pentax K-7.
Today, I dug out the camera from the closet and took it to the backyard for a round of macro shooting. The SX1 IS-Raynox DCR-250 still surprises me till today.

Here’s another one, taken at a higher ISO and faster shutter speed to brighten the chance of taking sharper photos.

I was also into some photo editing mood and decided to see what fading could do to the spider macro using GIMP software. Here’s how it turns out:
