GQ is forced to clarify this week after people around the Internet accused it of photoshopping January Jones’ boobs.
In a blog entry, GQ’s director of photography, Dora Somosi, defended the photograph which appears on the front cover of the magazine, saying the boobs were “very real” and “very spectacular”.
When asked whether the magazine messed up with January’s photograph, Dora replied, “Absolutely not.”
Dora said that the magazine only employ minimal retouching on its photographs such as taking a pimple out or softening dark circles under the eyes.
“Or maybe there’s a wrinkle in the shirt, or even dust on the lens. January Jones needed no help. Trust me,” Dora said.
By the way, is GQ magazine sold in France? Because it might be required to put up a “health warning” following the accusation.
