I finally manage to set aside enough fund this week for the lens I have been thinking of buying — a Lensbaby Composer — to go with the Pentax K-7. My year-end holiday is fast approaching and I want to have the baby by Dec 2, the day I am to fly to North Borneo for a month of holidaying and laid backing.
But it looks like I will have to forget the lens for the time being all because of non responsive dealers. In Malaysia, Lensbabies can only be bought online.
Last week, I called the only two online dealers which have the Lensbaby in their list of products but each time I was told that they will have to check their stock. Then they told me to write an email and that their distributors will reply to me a.s.a.p.
Well, their a.s.a.p is already a week now and none of the two has responded to my email. So it looks like I will have to forget the baby for the time being. Maybe next year. Maybe I will have to order it direct from the baby maker itself.
