JVC has abandoned its plans to buy Pentax from Hoya Corporation, according to a report by Bloomberg.
JVC won’t be selling its music unit and has also dropped any thought of acquiring Hoya Corporation’s Pentax camera business, Bloomberg quoted company spokesman Takaaki Nose as saying.
