I received the smc Pentax D FA Macro 100mm F2.8 WR today. Here are among the very first few shots taken with the lens and the K-7. These pictures were taken while I was at the camera shop and later at my backyard. No insect shots yet.
I like the creamy background this lens dishes out. Bokeh, one of the lens’ features which Pentax specifically mentions in its press release, is also good. These pictures have been re-sized and applied sharpening.
