PhotographyBlog Reviews Pentax Optio W90

The Pentax Optio W90 has been in my radar since it was first announced on Feb 24, 2010.

I thought the “Digital Microscope mode with LED lens” was a cool feature to have not only for underwater photography where light will be an issue but also in macro photography where a good amount of light is needed.

Recently the camera was chosen as the Gear of the Year winner by the Outside Magazine but other than that, little is know about the rugged compact.

But reviews of the Pentax Optio W90 are trickling in and the latest one, and the most comprehensive review of the element proof compact camera, is by PhotographyBlog, in which reviewer Gavin Stoker put the camera to pace in PhotographyBlog’s usual 8-page review.

Meanwhile, InfoSync has also reviewed the Optio W90 and posted an interesting video, below:
