How do you find the Exif data of online photographs? There is a long process to do that. First, download the picture and open it using a photo editor and from there you can view the exif data. Some photo editors, however, only display the basic information such as shutter speed, aperture value, ISO, focal length or whether the flash is fired or not.
The other way is to post the photos on Flickr. From there, you can click the photo’s properties to see the details of the exif data, provided it has not been stripped at source. Make sure to delete the photos soon after, however, because you don’t want to get entangled in any copyright issue.
The simplest way, I recently discovered via PetaPixel, is using the website called Findexif.com.
Just go to the website, paste the URL of the photo you want to read, and in just seconds all information about the photo unfold before your eyes. Below is the exif data of a recent photograph posted on this blog.
