Pentax K-7 users can now edit in-camera the HD videos they take with the camera, thanks to a firmware update announced by Pentax today.
The firmware Version V1.10, says Pentax, added movie editing function on playback mode palette. Users can divide a movie into multiple segments and erase unwanted segments from the movie. The firmware also adds electronic level indication on the monitor, adds exposure meter indicator both in the LCD panel and in the viewfinder, adds Reversal Film mode on custom image function.
Autofocus can now be activated in Live View by pressing the shutter release button halfway. It also improved focus speed. The new Pentax K-7 firmware can be downloaded here.
