Swivelling LCD screens are slowly moving up the value chain, with Canon adopting the feature in its latest DSLR, the EOS 60D. Articulating LCD screens are no longer for the “faint-hearted” as was the contention in the past but rather, a necessity, especially now with HD videos becoming a permanent feature of what many would now call a “modern” DSLR.
About a year ago, I posted a list of cameras with tilt-and-swivel LCD screen. I guess, it’s time to update the list. One important thing to note is that the number of cameras with articulating LCD screens produced so far in 2010 equals the number produced during the 2008-2009.
