Buckingham Palace has announced that Prince William is officially engaged with longtime girlfriend Kate Middleton. The palace said in a statement that William, proposed to Middleton while on Vacation in Kenya some weeks ago. The wedding is scheduled sometime in Summer of next year.

For some reason, human emotions — sometimes — can only be best presented in black and white photos.
