oh? i always expect everyone to know MORE than me :) just go into tools and do the 'export' thing on your blog, and once you have the file, start up a free blog over at the wordpress.com hosted site and upload it there, see if your comments show up... then you will know it's your install here...

if i were you i would go to the wordpress.org support forums, as there are more knowledgable people than me over there... but they often give hyper technical answers.

disqus kinda sucks really, coz people can't just come in and leave their blog address and such... i had to sign in with twitter to leave a comment.

on the other hand, for some strange reason, somebody else was using disqus on their wp blog, and i got to see that you had replied to me here...

Thanks Elaine,

That recommendation is still too technical for me. Anyway, I've sorted out the commenting system. Hopefully Disqus won't disappoint.

Ya, it's amazing how camera shake can be corrected off-camera. I wonder what is the effect like if shake reduction is used on less-shaky video :)

Oh yes, their anti-shake works very well. I took video with handheld compact and walk from point A to point B. Then I double or triple the speed of that video clip and use Youtube anti-shake. The smooth gliding-like effect is so cool, as if it was shot using high-end video rail system. :-D

Comment on Starting March 12, Lightroom Will Ship With Newly Purchased Hasselblad H4D Cameras by Reader

My reply:

----

Feedback Hasselblad:
»As a lens profile could be generated for Lightroom, for example, f/2.8 at infinity focus distance this would mean that any other setting that was used for the exposure would have the incorrect lens correction applied (as distortion, aberration and vignetting differs for each aperture and focus distance combination).
Currently, as you can see from the second screen shot then it is not possible to set these parameters in Lightroom. Due to this limitation there isn't any lenses for the V-system in Lightroom. «

Dear xxx,

I understand the problem but still it would be very helpful to have basic lens profiles for infinity focus distance in order to have a starting point for manual adjustments. Right now it is a pain in the neck to adjust manually.

Without any profile at all it is almost impossible to use lightroom with all features and I really LOVE the old Zeiss lenses and the ability of lens corrections would just be fantastic!

Besides: it is possible to set exif information within the CFV-39 back and this information could be stored easily in the exif data. Maybe this could be solved with a firmware upate?

Another thought: If Hasselblad could provide the ability to store the desired settings in Phocus as exif data that would already be a great work around.

Next Lightroom could import fff files with correct exif data written by Phocus for their lens correction.

Could this be done by Hasselblad? I guess this feature would be great for all V-System users who use Hasselblad Digital Backs.

Best wishes, xxx

---

After a few more emails they told me that they will put it to there feature request list. I don't see a technical problem regarding my suggestion.
